Okamoto 001 Extra Moist is the additional-lubricant variant of Okamoto's flagship 0.01mm polyurethane condom — same ultra-thin material as the standard 001, with roughly twice the pre-applied lubricant. Each box contains 3 individually wrapped condoms manufactured in Japan to JIS T 9111 standards.

Why we stock Okamoto 001 Extra Moist

Many customers who use Okamoto 001 also reach for additional water-based lubricant during use — the Extra Moist variant solves that one step earlier by putting more lube in the package. We carry it because the small convenience matters in practice, and because there are good comfort reasons (postpartum recovery, certain medications, perimenopause) where the extra moisture is genuinely useful. All stock is imported direct from Japan with full expiry typically 4–5 years from manufacture.

How to use

1. Check expiry and foil seal on each individual sachet.
2. Tear sachet along the notched edge with hands only.
3. Pinch the tip, unroll fully onto an erect penis before any contact.
4. The extra lubricant means the foil and condom will feel noticeably wetter than the standard 001 — this is normal.
5. One condom per act. Lubricant: water-based or silicone-based only — never oil-based.

Note: the Extra Moist lubricant is water-based and dissipates more quickly than silicone lubricant. For very long sessions, supplement with a water-based bottle.

Extra Moist vs standard 001

Same condom, different lube load. Standard Okamoto 001: silicone-based dimethicone lubricant, moderate amount. Okamoto 001 Extra Moist: water-based hydrogel lubricant, approximately 2x the volume. Is this authentic Okamoto? Yes. Imported direct from Japan in original Japanese-market packaging with intact seals and full batch traceability.

Is the lubricant safe? Yes — the formula is water-based and uses the same hydrogel system used in many Japanese OTC personal lubricants. Glycerin-free for users sensitive to glycerin.

Will the extra moisture damage the condom? No — the lubricant is engineered to be compatible with the polyurethane film. What you can't add: oil-based products, which break down polyurethane.

Can I use additional lube on top? Yes — add water-based or silicone-based lubricant freely. Avoid oil-based.

How should I store it? Cool dry place below 30°C, away from wallets, glove boxes and hot bathroom drawers.
